Deuteronomy 15:10
Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart;
then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all
your work and in everything you put your hand to.
Generous God,
I give thanks to you for the gifts you have given me -my life,
my family, my friends - time, talents, and material possessions.
All that I have comes from you. Help me to remember this and
rejoice in your goodness.
Merciful God, we remember before you all who are living with burdens and pains.
Be with them when they feel alone or rejected,
and touch them with your healing Spirit.
Lord, remember your people at this time as we speak out loud the names of people in need...
Lord, help us to develop and share our gifts
as good stewards,
that we may use them
in love and service in your Kingdom.
In Jesus name we pray. AMEN.
