Please stand as we join together in prayer.
From Chapter 4 of First John: “If we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us”.
Lord, your light shines within us, yet we are weak and we often go astray, we fall asleep, and forget. Wake us to the good new of Jesus and his love for us, and help us to remember that with Jesus by our sides, all things are possible. Help us to love you and to love each other, as Jesus taught us. WE PRAY TO YOU, OH LORD.
Lord, you are an awesome god that gives us all that we need – the air that we breathe, the earth and all of its bounty, the sun’s warmth and energy, and the love and friendship of those dear to us. Lord, everything we have is yours and we thank you for the abundance that you share with us. WE PRAY TO YOU, OH LORD
Lord, as we begin this Advent season and we anticipate the celebration of Jesus’ birth, may your spirit stir in us and awaken us to the love of Jesus that resides within us. Help us to remember the needs of others as we are your hands and your feet and your heart. Lord, for those among us that are sick, suffering, or in need of special care we pray that you touch them with your healing spirit. We pray especially for those that we now name out loud and in our hearts before you.………….. WE PRAY TO YOU, OH LORD.
Lord, help and guide us as we go out into our lives. Give us joyful hearts and smiles on our faces to share all that we have through Jesus. In Jesus name we pray. AMEN
