John 20:29
29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
Lord, help us to release the doubt that lives in our hearts. Remind us daily of Your ever present love and that You are always with us. Help us to see You through our doubt and experience a loving relationship with You.
Lord, be with this congregation during this time of uncertainty as we transition from our current pastor to interim and eventually calling a new pastor. We thank You for the sending Suellen to us and know that You will send exactly the right person for us to continue Your work here at Mt Olive. Be with Pastor Suellen as she transitions into her new ministry opportunities.
Lord, we pray for all the victims of the storms in the South. Be with the survivors who have lost loved ones, possessions, and possibly their jobs. We pray that there be enough medical supplies, food, water and volunteers for as long as necessary.
Lord, there are many among us that are living with burdens and pains, keeping them from living a full life, with many doubts and fears and no hope. But there is hope in Jesus. You provide hope, mercy and forgiveness. Lord, remember your people at this time as we speak out loud the names of people in need...
