Prayers March 23, 2014
Opening Prayer:
We are saved by faith through God’s grace today. As we worship You in this place, help us look to You Lord in total obedience. Amen.
God formed His Son in us through sanctification, setting us apart from sin and making us holy in His sight. Help us to transform our natural life into spiritual life by obedience to Him.
God, loves us despite our shame. Even when Peter denied Jesus, You still loved him. Remind us that there is nothing we can do or say that will make You stop loving us.
Pour your healing rain upon all who suffer, all who are silenced, all who are stifled, and all who are ill, especially those whom we name before you now.
When the shame of our wrong decisions have driven us to continue to choose poorly, help us turn to you. Expose our vulnerability and forgive us, so that others may no longer suffer for our choices.
Amen.
