O God, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below. We worship You today as the awesome Maker of the universe. Amen.
Forgive us when we speak out of turn, O Lord, and assume knowledge which belongs to you alone. Replace our short sightedness with patience and humility.
O Lord, you are the author of faith. Engrave on our hearts the gospel revealed in Jesus Christ and brought near to us by your Holy Spirit, that we may attest to this faith in lives that are pleasing to you.
Lorde, help us to trust You in times of trouble. Surround all who need your healing with your tenderness and care, especially for those whom we love and name before you now…PAUSE…
Lord, You are the one and only Awesome God above all and beyond anything else that can be named. Yet you have concern and love for each and every one of us. We thank You for allowing us to be among those whom You have called to do great things. AMEN.
