Opening: O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below. We worship You today as the awesome Maker of the universe. Amen.
Community: O Lord, you are the author of faith. Engrave on our hearts the gospel revealed in Jesus Christ and brought near to us by your Holy Spirit, that we may attest to this faith in lives that are pleasing to you.
Help us to trust You in times of trouble. Be with us during these troubled times and especially with those we name before you now out loud or silently in our hearts....
Lord, You are the one and only Awesome God above all and beyond anything else that can be named. Yet you have concern and love for each and every one of us. We thank You for allowing us to be among those whom You have called to do great things. AMEN.
